Overview
If you're unsteady on your feet, enter via the Hastie's Close (Cowgate) entrance - there's an alley to walk down (roughly 20m) , then six steps up and one small step down - so I don't think it's wheelchair accessible, but contact the venue to check as they may be able to provide a ramp if necessary? There are then handrails to help you to the entrance. You can also enter from Guthrie Street, but there are 30ish steps down to the entrance. Having contacted them in advance, they had reserved me a table on the balcony (entrance level) behind the dancefloor. The accessible loo was also on that level, just across at the other side of the room from the reserved seats. The other loos are up six steps and across the corridor. The bar at entry level wasn't open when I was there, but there's another bar down a few steps beside the dancefloor. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and really went the extra mile to help me out, for instance bringing me out a chair while queuing.

The accessible loo was also on that level, just across at the other side of the room from the reserved seats. If that loo is out of order then the other loos are up half a dozen steps and across the corridor.
Staff
The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful and really went the extra mile to help me out despite my 'special needs' (!), for instance bringing me out a chair while I was waiting in the queue. They also replied to my Facebook queries about accessibility very quickly with really useful information, and an unprompted offer to reserve me a table for the gig. Lovely people.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I imagine the six steps will make it difficult for people in wheelchairs or with very reduced mobility, but the venue may have arrangements to provide a ramp if necessary. Worth checking as I think this is the only potential barrier.
