Overview

This art gallery and museum also houses the library and a lovely welcoming café. It's very close to the train station - just a few yards, with non-step access. It is spacious and easy to get around. The museum has exhibitions and stories of the fascinating history of Kirkcaldy. I would agree with the reviewer who said that the disabled toilets were not easy to find - I had to ask. Once you locate them, they are convenient and easy to access. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place for a visit for several hours.

Good ramp. Step-free inside with spacious lift to first floor.

Toilets

Perfect other than difficulty in locating the disabled toilets. Better signage would fix that. There is an accessible toilet on each floor but the upper floor one requires a key.

We arrived by train, having changed from the tram at the new-ish Edinburgh Gateway station and that was good fun.
