Overview
Gorgeous theatre and it has some nice shows but it's such a hassle to get into that it really feels like you are not very welcome. Wheelchair users have to enter by the side lane, usually ringing a bell to summon staff. I know there are staffing cost issues but really ... The wheelchair spaces are poor seats in terms of visibility. It's not at all clear to me who you would get to the bar in a wheelchair and I have been to this venue dozens of times. Yes, it's an old building but was recently refurbished and little improvement was made in terms of accessibility. Staff are friendly.
Transport & Parking
No disabled parking. No taxi drop-off place
Access
Side entrance. Ring the bell. Not good enough
Toilets
Large and functional. Nearby the 'standard' toilets are minimal so there tends to be a problem with non-disabled people using the accessible loo
Staff
Friendly and helpful
