Great venue for all.

Overview
Great venue, efficient, caring staff, access good to every part of the place. Concessions for carer accompanying a disabled person (you have to join their scheme but well worth it). Staff are helpful and polite and speak to the disabled person rather than just the carer. Accessible Toilet. Access to venue by a ramped entrance solely for disabled so no trampling over you at the end of a show! There is a lift to access the upstairs bar area. Have been many times before and post pandemic.
Transport & Parking
Free on street Disabled parking outside venue. Venue opposite Ilkley Railway station. Arrive early as parking limited.
Access
Access via ramped entrance at side of building. Not used by able bodied so no trampling over you at the end of a show. On arrival you ring the bell on door and a member of staff will let you in and escort you to the bar or auditorium. There is a lift to first floor where bar is. Staff are happy to help and disabled aware. I like how the staff speak directly to my wheelchair bound husband and not me, making him feel valued. Visibility of stage from where the wheelchair spaces are is very good.
Toilets
Accessible unisex loo, well signposted and nice and clean.
Staff
All staff are disabled aware, front of house and bar staff always happy to assist. They will answer any questions and accompany you to your seating area. We have always found them polite and not patronising.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Covid precautions are somewhat relaxed now though hand sanitiser is available and front of house staff wore masks as did bar staff. Felt safe and really enjoyed the visit. We have been to this venue many times both prior to the pandemic and before.
