Overview
We went for a long walk in Killarney National Park. The path was paved all the way round, and there was lots of up-and-down involved. The down was very fun (it was like a rollercoaster!) and I could mostly use my momentum from the down to get up the up, though my dad also did quite a lot of pushing. One section of the walk (about 1km) was on the road as the trail path was not suitable for my chair or my grandpa's scooter, but cars slowed down when passing us and we quickly got back on the path. It was an amazing walk and I loved every minute of it, although the section on the road was tricky.
Transport & Parking
heaps of disabled parking
Access
everything in the park was amazing. Tarmac paths, level access; everywhere I wanted to go, I could go.
Toilets
visited two great loos. Both were spacious, although one had a sink that was not reachable from the toilet, making cathing a little more difficult.
