Great Indian food in Edinburgh
Visit date:
Overview
Nice restaurant in a busy part of Edinburgh. Access is good, with step-free access through wide front doors and a spacious dining area.
Transport & Parking
Khushi's is right beside a main road where there are frequent Lothian buses which have wheelchair access. There is some on-street parking nearby and a taxi rank across the road at the Omni Centre.
Access
There is a small concrete ramp covering a step into the restaurant. There are two sets of double doors to go through, unfortunately these are not automatic and can be a little stiff because of the carpet (although that same carpet does a good job of keeping the doors propped open as you enter). The doors do have window panels so you will be seen as you approach if you need assistance, and the entrance is very wide. Inside the tables are not too close together which is good, and most chairs are removable. The floors are smooth tiled. The lighting is bright as the entire front of the restaurant is windowed.
Toilets
I didn't use the toilets on this visit, but I noticed there was a wide clear path leading to them.
Staff
We received a very nice welcome as staff greet you at the door, but for the rest of our stay service was a little abrupt.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Great food, nice atmosphere. Good restaurant for bigger group bookings too!
