Transport & Parking

Disabled parking bays were spotted near entrance with crossed out section all around. Bus stop I use is outside Wilko which is about 5 minute walk away. There is a bus stop outside but not sure what buses use this stop. Ones outside Wilko and opposite seem to be main stops. The bus stops have shelters, seating & live times. They also have a space that can fit a wheelchair under the shelter.

Access

Tactile paving located on both sides of path at the crossing to get into KFC. Door was manual and heavy. I crashed into the door handle trying to get in as my chair has left side control which made it awkward. There was a small threshold. The screens to order food have a wheelchair symbol to lower the screen. Contact less payment accepted. Serving counter is of a lowered height. There were no designated accessible tables.

Toilets

The toilet is through a heavy self closing door. Toilet door is opened with radar key. The door was quite heavy and self closing. There was enough space to turn but there was a bin in transfer space. Cord had been tied up to make it shorter. Navy grab rails around toilet and sink. Large flush handle and lever tap.

Staff
