Overview
Very interesting museum in Glasgow that is very accessible with a cafe included.
Transport & Parking
Designated disabled parking spaces (not sure how many) near main entrance. Accessible pavements around car park with plenty of room for a wheelchair user.
Access
Entrance is flat with automatic doors. Even although museum is on various levels most area can be accessed with lifts. The lift instructions are in Braile too. There is level flooring throughout the museum so easy to access. The cafe is on the ground floor & is level access.
Toilets
The accessible toilet I visited was well signposted & big enough for a wheelchair to easily manoeuvre. See photo for grab rails etc.
Staff
All staff were helpful & friendly. Directing you whatever you wanted to locate. The staff in the cafe would easily carry your tray to your table & ensure you were sitting at a table that was suitable for a wheelchair.
