10am Autism Friendly Hour - reduced sensory input in the museum until 11am
All day: Stalls in the Museum for visitors to access information from local and national disabled access groups

2.30 – 3.15pm: Storytelling with puppets for 5 – 11yrs (Story of Ironie)
Talks programme
10.30 – 11am Steaming on with Inclusive Access: An overview of the “Sheffield 1916: Steel Steam and Power” and how inclusive access principals are being worked into the project
11.30 – 12noon Bog Standard Practice: An introduction to inclusive access design principals in action from toilets to text panels.
12.30 – 1pm Stories, Songs and Signs: How museums can provide access to disabled children and their families
1.30 – 2pm Dementia Awareness: An introduction to becoming a dementia friendly museum
2.30 – 3pm Visual Impairment Awareness: A practical introduction to the experiences of visually impaired visitors followed by a brief tour by members of the Inclusive Access Forum.
