Overview
The shop has a ramp ready to deploy quickly for wheelchair users, but there is no access to the basement.
Transport & Parking
Several bus routes will drop you some distance away, and there are no step-free stations nearby.
Access
There is a step at the entrance to the shop. The staff thoughtfully keep a wheelchair ramp right next to the door, and the moment they spotted me, a friendly member of staff came and deployed the ramp for me. He was uncertain at first about which way round to deploy it: we had to guide him. Inside the shop, I had easy access all over the ground floor. The basement floor (women's wear) is completely inaccessible to wheelchair users as it's reachable only via a staircase.
Toilets
This is not the sort of shop where I would expect to find a toilet. I didn't find one.
Staff
All the staff we encountered were delightful, and keen to be helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Wheelchair users wanting menswear will be fine in this shop. If you're a wheelchair user wanting women's wear, you will not be able to get to it, and I would recommend shopping somewhere else. Jack Wolfskin are exposing themselves to possible legal difficulties by refusing to provide wheelchair access to the basement floor.
