Overview
The Jack Kilby Computing Centre is a large study area with PCs, Macs and space available for Edinburgh Napier students. The centre is on a gradual hill with ramps along each side and toilet facilities at the front of the building.
Transport & Parking
Parking outside Merchiston Campus is metred, there is also a number of blue badge parking bays on the Colinton Road entrance. The 45 passes this campus. However I feel the path is very uneven and difficult to cross sometimes. There is also space for taxis to stop and let you out.
Access
There are three doors into the main centre all automatic and powered by push-pads/ touch sensors on the right hand side coming in. A beep will go off when it has been activated to let you know the doors opening. Two doors in the accessible toilet is on the left hand side, then another door will take you into the centre.
Toilets

Inside there is ample space to move around. There is a large mirror with shelf space which is great for resting books or bags on. The sink is small but space underneath to roll under. There is a red cord on the right hand side of the toilet which..
Staff
Security are on call 24/7 as the centre is open the same. They are happy to help you with accessing the toilet or help with doors etc. The IT staff are also helpful if needed.
