This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair
Overview
There are automatic doors and ramps to access the ticket booth but the ramps up to the platforms are very steep for pushing wheelchairs up and maybe for some electric chairs. There is no lift but a small car park was added within the last 2 years on one side, so if travelling to Glasgow or other stops in that direction you can avoid the steep ramp but this car park is only accessible via vehicle. Staff are very helpful but as most rail travel must be booked in advanced for use of the ramp on/off train.
Transport & Parking
There are a number of disabled parking bays and ramps can be booked to get on/off train.
Access
access to ticket booth good but ramps steep to platforms. There are no lifts to the platforms but you access to a car heading the Glasgow direction, can use the new park that has direct access to the platform but this is only accessible via vehicle. Ramps on and off train must be booked I advanced.
Toilets
There are no toilet facilities available at this station
Staff
