Accessible gym in Inverness

Overview
Gym with lots of equipment suitable for a wheelchair user, although access to the building is a bit challenging. There is a hand-pedal resistance bike, a pulley weight machine, four upper body machines (lateral pull down, chest press, shoulder press and pec deck) which can be used by a wheelchair bound person. The rowing machines can also have the seat taken out for a wheelchair if you ask staff. There is a good selection of free weights and a big mat area for your workout. Gym staff are friendly although not always about, front desk staff sometimes a bit rude and changing facilities not always clean.
Transport & Parking
Disabled spaces close to venue, usually free during the day.
Access
Steep and long double ramp to front entrance, two stage ramp down to changing area from front desk, and up to gym from front desk. Bit of a struggle for an unaccompanied manual wheelchair user (my mum says it's a good warm up for her!)
Toilets
Good facilities : hoist, height adjustable changing Bed and sink, shower, grab rails and lots of space. However, frequently no blue roll or soap, and on at least two occasions the changing bed or toilet have had faecal matter caked on (which to be fair I reported and it was cleaned). Hygiene bin overflowing with waste not very nice either.
Staff
Some of the front desk staff are a bit rude and difficult. Gym staff are great although not always in attendance.
