Well worth visiting although accessibility is constrained.

Overview
Visited on a holiday weekend. Advance booking was easy and disabled visitors and their carers pay no charge. We could only access ground floor with wheelchair but this gives a clear idea of the castle and an I-pad is available for visitors who can't access upper rooms. Estate has made an effort to cope with all visitors to a historic building and family home.
Transport & Parking
Drove. Access and parking is easy and there appears to be an option available for disabled drop off at entrance. Bus to Inverary. Still leaves a fair walk to the castle from town and long driveway.
Access
Ramp access to ground floor of castle and fairly easy to navigate that area. Staff on hand to assist. Tablet presentation provides information about remainder of property. Display cabinets seem to be at a reasonable height and information boards in variety of languages were plentiful. Some seating around to allow for a rest
Toilets
Easy to find but a bit small and manoeuvring could be difficult. Clean and tidy but not sure about room for carer. No changing places toilet
Staff
Welcoming, helpful and informative
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Only downside appeared to be access to garden, shop, ordinary toilets and tearoom, but we were happy to use outside tables and coffee stance on a warm sunny day. Think there might have been an alternative level access to garden and these other facilities, but we didn't investigate. Not sure that we would visit again as property is small enough to see pretty much everything in one visit, but nothing from this experience would put us off a second visit. Strongly recommend any potential visitor to check castle website for information re opening times and to book tickets if travelling any distance (which is probably everybody)!
