Overview
Really impressed with this place. We stopped off for coffee and a toasted sandwich (delicious btw!) because it had been recommended to us. We will definitely be going back and very keen to learn more about their accessible climbing sessions!
Transport & Parking
Parking right outside the door. We drove - I imagine getting there by public transport a whole other issue!
Access
Level access entrance through reception and the shop. You enter a warm and inviting cafe with a great selection of simple yet tasty food - and good value too! While you're eating there is lots to watch! It is the National Climbing Centre with lots of indoor climbing walls and has the World's biggest ice climbing wall - and you can see all the activity from the cafe. There are accessible climbing sessions that are run at the centre - I didn't get a chance to find out more (too busy having lunch!) but will definitely get in touch if I'm due to be in the area again and get a session booked.
Toilets
Right by the cafe and it is easy to find, easy to access, and clean and tidy. Was interested to see that the Ice Factor was proudly signposted as a Highland Comfort Public Convenience too - what a great scheme!
Staff
Everyone that we met seemed friendly and helpful.
