Overview
Brilliant conversion of four 19th century gasometers into housing, offices, and a shopping and entertainment complex. We enjoyed lunch at Restaurant I Leoni, an Italian eatery inside Gasometer A.
Transport & Parking
Can't comment on the parking. U Bahn Line 3 gets you right there - get off at the station called Gasometer. It's fully accessible and you come out just outside Gasometer A.
Access
Lifts to all levels in the public parts of the Gasometers, which are linked by accessible glass bridges. A level footpath takes you right round the complex - well worth the walk to admire this skilful conversion of old industrial buildings.
Toilets
The only one we saw (and used) was a Euro Key toilet at the entrance to the U Bahn station - but you need a Euro Key.
Staff
Friendly, helpful English-speaking waiter is the restaurant I Leoni.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Very good Italian food and generous helpings in an unusual and interesting environment.
