Overview

Although I am not a wheelchair user, or in use of any other aids, I was impressed with the facilities at the hotel. I was given a suite which contained a wet room, low sink, and a drop down hand rail next to the toilet. I stayed on the fifth floor, and there was level access via a lift located in reception; however the lift was narrow and may be a potential problem for larger wheelchairs and other big aids. The beds in the room were low, and very narrow, this could potentially be a problem regarding transfers.

Transport & Parking

I am unsure if there was parking available at the hotel as I went via train. Piccadilly station is located near the hotel, with wheelchair taxis available from outside the station.

Access

There was a lift available to all floors, however it was narrow so it may be a potential problem for larger wheelchairs and aids.

Toilets

The suite had a wet room, which had a pull down hand rail situated next to the toilet. I am unsure whether all suites contain a wet room, or if it has to be requested when booking.

Staff

The reception was quite small, and therefore during busy periods it was hard to communicate with the staff.
