Overview
Start in car park for the Bedser Traiĺ. Take path, bearing right. Continue til reach Chertsey road. Very busy road, cross with extreme care. Different paths to choose from, variety of surfaces but all firm. Many boardwalks and bridges, all good for wheelchairs. We covered a tiny section of the common . In fact we came back along the canal tow path.
Transport & Parking
I'm not bus user but I believe bus runs along this busy road and stops nearby. There's a public car park in Monument Road to where we started the walk. It's free of charge for the first 2 hours. It gets v busy.
Access
Paths all good in the small section we covered. Very small lip to start/finish of boardwalk. Otherwise great network of paths in the bit where we were. Only visited one tiny bit of the common. Not sure how accessible the rest is. There's several car parks we need to check out. But would suggest one at GU21 5fs. Screenshot of map shows where we crossed Chertsey Rd. Nb extremely busy road! We extended our walk by switching to the canal for lunch at kiwi and Scott cafe barge.

Thanks for such a great review. I love outdoor spaces but it is always tricky to know if they'll work out well. I use a manual wheelchair and a powerchair. Your photos are great as they 'explain' the landscape so well. Thank you!
