Awful visit

Overview
We were a group booking, contacted twice in advance and were told the ‘whole place is fully accessible’. Sadly this was a lie and a terrible experience.
Transport & Parking
They have a really small car park. Whilst they have 3 disabled bays, I couldn’t use one as a sports car with no blue badge was parked in the space, so I had to park across the road.
Access
There is access to SOME areas. However, despite contacting them TWICE in advance, they put our group in an inaccessible area and refused to move other bookings so we could stay in the accessible area. The wheelchair access to this area was going along a road and then in via a ramp partially blocked by their bins. There was no toilet access for us as the toilet was up two steps. It would be really difficult to get a wheelchair into the accessible loo and a number of chairs wouldn’t manage the tight turn and corridor entrance.
Toilets
Couldn’t get most wheelchairs into the accessible loo. It was up two steps from where we were. Really badly laid out too.
Staff
There was one nice member of staff who queried why they hadn’t just put us in an accessible area. They promised to offer table service, but didn’t come over til my walking friends asked three times and after 40 minutes. They didn’t speak to me as the wheelchair user. The manager said he wanted to apologise. I stated his actions did not show he was apologetic as they would have tried to accommodate us in an accessible area. After making me wait 40 minutes, didn’t even offer a free drink!
