Overview
Great communication from booking to arrival. Durham lodge was perfect for us, very spacious, well equipped, clean, attractive modern accommodation. We appreciated the supply of tea/coffee/sugar/fresh milk/cake on arrival and the provision of dishwasher and washing up liquid, hand soap, and laundry capsules. Peaceful part of Lundin Links and using the back gate (up a gradual incline) to Leven Road (very busy road), a level walk to shops and Old Manor Hotel with the manual wheelchair. We would have needed the powered wheelchair to cope with the steeper main entrance and the steepness of some of the local pavements, but then most of Fife's East Neuk villages are hilly! The driver found the position of the disabled parking space outside the lodge a bit tricky to negotiate. Lots to do and see in the area and lovely beaches. Fresh sea air restored and refreshed us greatly.
Transport & Parking
We drove and had no trouble finding the venue with good directions provided. There is one disabled space directly outside the lodge with electric charging facility and one allocated space opposite as well.
Access
Toilets
There were two spacious accessible loos on ground floor
Staff
Lodge key is in the key safe next to front door - code is sent before arrival - so no need to meet anyone on arrival or arrive at a specific time. The lady on reception was very helpful when I called in to report a couple of snagging issues (the lodge had only been opened a couple of months before we visited).
