Overview
This cafe is very popular and we recommend booking in advance where possible otherwise you may have to sit outside - it can be breezy but fleece blankets are provided. The food is terrific including local fresh dressed crab and a home made 'local catch' fish soup which comes with an optional slug of sherry and brandy infused peppers - delicious! Very friendly staff, the disabled parking is slightly undulating for lifts but doable. The cafe is on the beach which is handy for dogs.
Transport & Parking
Small car park and a little undulating but doable. Didn't try the toilet facilities. Have been to the museum in the past which we enjoyed.
Access
For an old building it's pretty accessible - everything on the ground floor and ramped. The cafe is accessed around the side and is tight inside but we managed perfectly well.
Toilets
Didn't look
Staff
Friendly and helpful, it's always busy so I would recommend phoning ahead to reserve a table and mention if you have a wheelchair.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We have been to the cafe several times with children and grandparents. The museum is small so good for short attention spans!
