Overview
During a 2 night stay we encountered a number of issues: 1. Accessibility The hotel is on a hill and Reception / Restaurant / Bar are on the ground floor while most of the rooms are on the lower ground. Our accessible bedroom (16) was on lower ground, accessed by a flight of 3 sets of stairs, each with a recently installed platform lift. They weren’t working properly so the alternative is to leave reception and follow the car park down the hill to enter lower ground through the fitness centre. Going to the restaurant fordinner and breakfast involved the same tortuous detour, but uphill this time. Not great! 2.Very little menu choice on the first night, and my fish and chips were incinerated. The 2nd attempt was undercooked! 3. The shower flooded the whole bathroom next morning- blocked shower drain in the wet room floor. We changed rooms - next door ( No . 13) but couldn’t move in until the evening. 4. The new room was fine until someone tried to get in our room at 1.30 in the morning. We found out next morning he was lost - his room was on the floor above!
Transport & Parking
Parking was mainly at room level down the hill. Was ok but a nuisance having to go up and down the hill in a wheelchair.

Toilets
Didn’t try the public facility.
