Overview

This is a perfect stop-over hotel before or after a trip through the Channel Tunnel. It is not flash, and not worth extending your visit, but incredibly convenient, and with Holiday Inn you can book an accessible room online. Step-free access to the large reception area which has some seating. Floor is carpeted, so not the easiest in a wheelchair. The accessible room was on the first floor - accessed by lift. The room was not large, and with the minimum of fuss, but fine for what we needed. The bathroom was a reasonable size, with space to manoeuvre. The stool they had in the shower was not ideal for me, especially as there were no grab rails in the shower. We asked at reception, and they located a plastic chair with arms, that worked well. Transport & Parking

Very easy to find the hotel if driving. Perfect if going to or coming from the Tunnel. Plenty of parking, including dedicated disabled parks, all in open air, so no height restrictions. Step-free from car park to reception.

Access

step-free access to reception , to restaurant, breakfast room and bedrooms. Lifts to all floors. Seating in the reception area

Toilets

Did not use the public accessible toilet, but the toilet in the bedroom had a grab rail on the right hand side, and plenty of space.

Staff

Staff were not always easy to find, but when they appeared, they were very helpful. I needed a different seat for the shower and they were happy to supply one.

We will go again, as it is perfect for the Channel Tunnel, and visiting Boulogne and Wimereaux, where we always like to go when in France.
