Overview

We stayed in Pinder cottage, though Hoe Grange has a range of cottages with different levels of access. Not only is there excellent access but also equipment to borrow if needed.

Transport & Parking

We went by car and found it easy to find. Really helpful to have parking right outside the cottage.

Access

In Pinder cottage there is flat access into and within, including onto the decking outside.

Toilets

There are 2 bathrooms in Pinder cottage. Though no hand rails, a portable stand with rails both sides was available at no extra cost.

Staff

The owners, David and Felicity, were fantastic. Really kind and helpful, ready to do what they could to make your holiday work for you.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

This is a truly unique set up. The Hoe Grange website has very detailed information about all the cottages. The access plus equipment available is brilliant. For me, having a riser/ recliner chair was fantastic and made it much easier to relax in the evening. AND you can hire a Boma all terrain ‘vehicle’ - dubbed “The Go-Cart” by my grandchildren, who thought it was cool. The setting is stunning and lots to do within 10 miles of Hoe Grange. I was able to borrow (free of charge) a walker so less to bring and no need for wheelchair indoors.
