Overview
Went to see musical Cher with friends. Our friend who visits the theatre often with people in wheelchairs organised the visit. The musical was EXCELLENT!!
Transport & Parking
There was a car park at the back of the theatre which had disabled parking bays. However we had to cross a main road to get to the back entrance of the theatre. Our friend knew how to ring a bell to alert staff we were there & opened the door for us. Getting to our allocated seats was ok however where my wheelchair was positioned was on a slant. My view of the stage was good but everyone in passed me had to climb over me to get out. Also it became obvious that my wheelchair was slipping forward on the slant as my friend could not get out passed me after about 1 hour. My husband & our friend remedied this by turning my wheelchair small wheels at the front to right angles so I couldn’t move forward - not really ideal.
Access
I think it would have been better if we had gone in the front entrance as written in previous reviews, I will know better another time. This was organised by our friends as I said so we had no input.
Toilets
I didn’t visit the toikets.
Staff
The staff that we saw were ok.
