Overview
The hall is an excellent community facility, it has a newly refurbished accessible WC, which while not fully Approved Document M compliant is has handrails, an accessible toilet, mirror and room to manoeuvre. There are accessible parking bays, a fairly accessible entrance, although there is a lip on the inside which is being addressed. The fire exits are difficult to access but, the main entrance can be used in the event of a fire. Both lounge and hall are accessible with free standing furniture that can be laid out as required. All the staff are extremely helpful and more are happy to assist in opening doors and arranging furniture if needed. The hall has lots of classes taking place, it has a noticeboard advertising these events. These adverts are not available in other formats, however, the staff are happy to inform patrons of what activities are taking place in the forthcoming weeks.
Transport & Parking
There are good public transportation links, with a bus stop directly outside. There is a fairly large sized carparks with flat access for taxi drop offs, there is two accessible parking bays in this car park. The car park is also well lit in the evening.
