Overview
We attended the Sounds of Silents screening as a group of 3 people with sight loss and 1 sighted guide. Our front row seats had been reserved for us and they were only a few paces from the front door of the cinema. The cafe was located between the entrance and our seats, meaning it was easy to buy our refreshments and sit down with them. Live captioning appeared on the cinema screen when Neil Brand was introducing the short films. This particular screening wasn't audio described but we had been made aware of this in advance and decided we still wanted to attend to hear the live piano accompaniment and stories behind the films and film-makers. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be returning in future.
Transport & Parking
We travelled there by car and parked in the small car park in the lane beside the cinema. From there, it was around 50 yards to the cinema entrance.

Staff
All of the staff gave us a warm welcome and gave clear information about how we could find our seats. Ali was expecting us and sought us out to say hello and offer her own welcome.
