Review of facilities for disabled visitors

Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Hearing Aid, Walking Aid, Wheelchair
Overview
This visitor attraction has been very well set up to be very accessible for wheelchair and scooter users with almost all areas having broad boardwalks. The restaurant and shop are also very accessible and there are disabled toilets. Disabled visitors can be taken by an accessible vehicle to see the few otherwise inaccessible areas. Registered disabled visitors, on production of their Blue Badge, can have a career admitted free.
Transport & Parking
I parked adjacent to the restaurant, shop and disabled toilets
Access
There are a great many signs throughout the Wildlife Park with one whole length of the car park designated for disabled visitors.
Toilets
The disabled toilet is visible on entry to the main building. It is well equipped with space for a carer. There is also a disabled toilet outside close to the play area.
Staff
They were very helpful and offered information. Their cheerfulness added to the enjoyment of our visit.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
