Overview
The house is interesting to visit and fully accessible for wheelchairs. The gardens are lovely too with an outside cafe and the sea views are fantastic. The completely accessible and realtively short zigzag path down to the beach is fantastic, with lots of places to stop and sit on the way and admire the view across to the Isle of Wight and the Needles.
Transport & Parking
We arrived by car but its location means it is probably well served on public transport. You have to pay to park as the carpark is owned by the local council (as is the house) and it only took coins or Ringo not cards.
Access
The house is completley level access with lifts to access all the floors. The outside space is mostly level as is the outside cafe and the zigzag path from the viewpoint down to the beach is fantastic. Lots of places to sit and rest along there.
Toilets
There were several accessible toilets in the Castle, well signposted and spacious.
