Disabled Traveller found the Bars easily enough
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Walking Aid, Wheelchair, Powerchair, Mobility Scooter
Overview
Taking a drink here is a pleasure, the bars are comfortable enough, well maintained and clean, with room for wheelchair and scooters to be placed, and the overall cost of drinks was quite reasonable, with good choices of favourite drinks. The service may be slow at times, as it’s a busy resort, but it’s not the place you need to rush about anyway, we came to relax, and that’s what we did. Transport & Parking
As mentioned in the other three reviews, parking isn’t that easy as it involves quite a walk from car into hotel, you will get wet if it’s raining, and I don’t mean that as a joke. Plenty of bays but no actual disabled bays, well, we didn’t see any, but car parks were full. The state is reasonably flat anyway, so getting around wasn’t to bad.
Access
Inside is on the level, with an occasional ramp, but there are lifts available.
Toilets
The once we used were small, but we coped. Wheelchairs can cope, but might be a bit of an effort for large chairs.
Staff
Friendly, helpful and cheerful enough, but busy.
