Overview
This museum is all about rope making, something the city of Oudewater is well known for. In this museum you will learn about the history and process of rope making. There is also a demonstration where you can make your own rope to take home as a souvenir. The rope museum can be visited in under an hour.
Transport & Parking
The museum is best reached by car or taxi. The company Accessible Travel Netherlands can arrange a taxi for you if needed. If going by public transportation, Oudewater has no train station, but is reachable by bus from the larger surrounding cities. Be sure to call ahead to ensure all buses you will be traveling on are accessible.
Access
The main floor is wheelchair accessible. The play area for children upstairs is not.

There is an accessible toilet with handrails installed.
