Disabled Access Day at Hereford Cathedral
Join us at Hereford Cathedral, as we take part in Disabled Access Day for the first time!
Hereford Cathedral is an inclusive church, welcoming all. We are the first place of worship to receive the Autism Friendly Award from NAS.
For Disabled Access Day we will be showcasing our exciting new resources, such as our Sensory Trail and video tours of inaccessible parts of the cathedral. There will be a recruitment stand, where you can find out about our new volunteer roles for Eastern Cloisters Project. Our Stanbury Chapel will be dedicated as a Quiet Spaces, and Social Stories are available to download.
Just as on every other day, Hereford Cathedral is free to visit, and all are welcome.
We will also be offering three special, one-off activities:
Medieval Manuscripts, 10:30am-12pm
Tactile Tour, 11:15am
Accessibility - where to begin? 2:30pm
Places for these activities are free but limited, so booking your place is essential. Please follow the link for more information about these activities and to book places: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/disabled-access-day-at-hereford-cathedral-tickets-56415809204
