Overview
The restaurant is in a lovely position overlooking Loch Ryan. It has easy access.
Transport & Parking
There is one space for Blue Badge holders, but the rest of the car park is tarmac and close to the entrance, so it was easy to access the restaurant.
Access
There is a lowered kerb beside the Blue Badge space and it is easy to wheel a chair up the paved ramp. The floor of the interior is hard and again very suitable for a chair. There is plenty of room inside. There are dining bubbles outside and these too have been made accessible.
Toilets
The entrance to the toilet is in a passageway and requires a very tight right hand turn - so tight I had to lift the back of the chair to get it round. See picture 6. Once inside, there is room for a wheelchair user and assistant and there are grips on both sides. There is not a red cord.
Staff
The staff were cheerful, efficient and helpful. Particular thanks to Fiona who served us.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The restaurant has an extensive menu with a particular emphasis on seafood. However, I had a very nice vegetable pancake.
