Overview

The accommodation was wonderful, clean, and kitted out with what we had requested. Welcome pack was very informative and gave all required details from how the boiler works, to emergency numbers, hospitals, GP surgeries and pharmacies in the area, various places of interest in and around Lincolnshire. The cottage itself is disable friendly and ample space for four people, lovely double bedroom, walking shower plus a bath tub, another twin bed bedroom, spacious kitchen/diner. The back garden was lovely, there is enough room for entertainment as well as a heated swimming pool. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Transport & Parking

We drove to Helsey House Cottages and parked outside the cottage. There is ample parking spaces outside the cottage. There are only two cottages on the property and the main house.

Access

The signage to the property was visible. There are no steps from the parking into the cottage. There are no steps into and around the cottage. There is a walk-in shower and if you need a shower chair, it will be provided. The extra items you need can be requested when making the booking.

Toilets

The bathroom and loo are combined. There is a raise seat on the loo. The door into the bathroom is big and can accommodate a wheelchair easily, the bathroom itself is huge; has a walk in shower, no steps to get into it, has hand rails, there is also a bath tub, and a hand rail next to the toilet.

Staff

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and on hand if you needed anything.

I would definitely recommend it to other people. In fact we went there after receiving a recommendation from other people who had visited and we in turn have recommended someone who has already made a booking and going in the next two weeks. It was a wonderful experience and we will be going back again.
