Overview
If you enjoy woodland trails then this is an excellent choice especially as the vast majority of the main paths are wide and in good repair. There are many smaller paths which go off but these are not recommended for wheelchair / scooter as they are often narrow and the surface can become muddy. On the main paths you can cover several miles! There is one official car park but no designated disabled bays, also a few unofficial parking areas where access is actually better to main paths.
Transport & Parking
Although there is one official car park, there are a few other non designated parking areas which offer better access to the main paths which are suitable for wheelchairs and scooters. As this is countryside location the car park surfaces are not tarmacked.
Access
From one of the non designated parking areas ( off the B937 ) there is direct access to the main wide pathway. The surface is good for wheelchairs and scooters although in wet weather this may be more challenging for certain manual wheelchairs. There are a few picnic seats along the routes with cut outs for wheelchair access.
Toilets
No toilets at this facility although toilets are available a few miles away at the Garden Centre in Freuchie.
