Overview
There is an Exhibition area with a short film about how Heather Gems are made, then a viewing area where you can see the crafters actually working which is fantastic! The shop is bright and accessible, with a variety of gifts which we all enjoyed looking at the lovely colours , this is a good talking point and engaging for someone living with dementia. Prices are reasonable and usually have a sale section.
Transport & Parking
From the Main road you can drive right up and park right outside entrance. There are a couple of disabled spaces. All parking is free.
Access
The Heather Gems is full accessible all on the one level, no steps , plenty of room to move a wheelchair around.
Toilets
Doesn’t have toilets, as this is a shop with no Café , you can always go back over to Victoria’s the café across the road and use their toilet.
Staff
