Overview
The entrance to Head of Steam is through wide double doors, often propped open, leading into a spacious foyer with another set of double doors leading into the pub itself. These doors look heavy but aren't. Tables are distributing with plenty of space in between, allowing easy access to a range of seating options that will accommodate for many disabilities. The bar is quite high. The light is quite dim & it is also quite loud, particularly at peak times. The bar is quite high. There is an accessible toilet, but I didn't use it. Staff were friendly & helpful. It is very close to the train station, several bus stops, a taxi rank, & there a multi-storey car parks with disabled parking in the area.
