Overview

The Haymarket Bar is a very nice pub with good access for wheel chair users. Access is through the side entrance on West Maitland Street and this leads straight into the bar through a couple of doors. The space inside is wide and there is an accessible loo. The staff were very friendly and said that there were a number of regulars who are wheel chair users.

City centre location with paid parking on neighbouring streets.

Access

The disabled access is very good. The only slight downside is that there are a couple of doors to open to get through to the bar area. However, the friendly bar staff would definitely help out if necessary.

Toilets

The accessible loo is located at the opposite side of the bar to the access entrance. It is a good size with plenty of room for bigger wheel/power chairs. There is also a baby changing facility and an emergency cord by the loo.

Staff

The staff I spoke to were very friendly.
