Overview
The pub has a fantastic (wheelchair accessible) terrace overlooking the fields and Pilhil Brook opposite, perfect for a sunny afternoon. The green opposite is al grass but with tables and benches and the access from the road is quite level. However getting into the pub requires access from a back door with awkward half step and coyer mat. There is a disabled parking space and an accessible wc which is clean and a suitable size but the access in is not ideal and there is a thoughtless half step inside the bar area. Good menu and rotating selection of local real ales.
Transport & Parking
One level parking space allocated to blue bade holders and near to rear entrance
Access
Sloped access to the terrace but steps to front door. Rear access is no ideal, small lip/step to door, tight dog leg to 2nd door up another lip. I can do this in my manual wheelchair, with help, but it is unnecessarily awkward.
Toilets
Wheelchair accessible WC which is kept clean and tidy. Access to it is not ideal
Staff
Staff are pleasant and helpful.
