Accessibility

When entering the museum there is a slight curb before reaching a push pad door. In the disabled parking bay, however, there is level access to the entrance of the museum. Within the museum, there is level access throughout and two wheelchair platform lifts.

Accessible Performances

There are relaxed opening hours every second Sunday of the month from 10 am -1 pm. During this time loud videos and the Air conditioning will be turned off to make the museum as quiet as possible.

Toilets

The accessible disabled toilet is located within the Ground floor walkway, this area is step-free. The toilet door is 90cm wide and opens outwards. There is a space of approximately 130cm in front of the toilet and 105cm to the left of the toilet. The toilet seat is 48.5cm high.

Staff

Visitor services officers are based at reception in the shop and regularly patrol the building. If you require any assistance, please ask them or any other member of staff.
