Overview
A wheelchair accessible restaurant with a range of food choices including vegan. Located at the entrance to Almondvale Shopping Centre.
Transport & Parking
As the restaurant is set at the entrance of a large shopping centre, there was lots of spaces. We found a disabled bay easily, which is a short walk to the restaurant.
Access
The entrance was level access and there was enough space for getting through in my powerchair. There was seats near the door incase you need to wait to be seated. Inside the restaurant was spacious and I found it easy to drive from the table to the salad bar.
Toilets
The accessible toilet is upstairs, which I found quite odd to begin with, but there is a platform lift to take you up. The toilet was very clean and had everything I needed. It was a little tight, but I think this was due to the position of the large bin. It was good to see there was an emergency pull cord and that it was tied up. I put a Euan's Guide card on it anyway. The door is RADAR locked, but it was open when we went to use it.
Staff
The waitress we had was lovely, friendly and very accommodating.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I would recommend this restaurant to others who are looking for an accessible restaurant as it's super close to the shopping centre, public transport and motorway.
