Hard Rock Cafe, Edinburgh.

Overview
Not really the place to go for a drink in a wheelchair. My personal view!. But where would the adventure be?
Transport & Parking
Parking is available on the street in front. Blue Badges are free but if you don't have a badge you pay at the machines before going into the Cafe or around the town. Can be hard to find a space at times.
Access
Is very tight for space if you use a wheelchair but I have seen people using them in there and seem very content. The staff will find you a low table if one is available so might be advisable to contact them first.
Toilets
Getting to the disabled toilet could cause a problem as the other customers chairs don't leave much room. Able-bodied customers have also been know to use this toilet as well to save them going down the stairs. The toilet is a fair size but could be tight for turning a whellchair.
Staff
The staff are very friendly and there for you. There is normally a manager on the floor if you do have a problem
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I use a walking stick in here and normally go straight to the bar. I have a friend than normally gets a stool for me and after paying for my first non-alcoholic drink the refills are free. Sorry the alcohol is payable. They have a very big cocktail list and the cafe does nice and varied foods. They also have a small merchandise area (shop) there as well. The menu and drinks list is on their website.:- www.hardrock.com/cafes/edinburgh/
