Overview
Wheelchair accessible bar and restraunt. Friendly staff serving a lovely selection of coffees & cakes,& fabulous bar meals with a large choice of wines & other alcoholic beverages . If you like fish dishes then you wont be disappointed. Other meals (including vegetarian) are available too. I have tried the restraunt too and this also will not disappoint! The prices are above average, but it is a boutique hotel, situated in a lovely position on the quayside. As I always say " you only get what you pay for".
Transport & Parking
The venue has a small car park at the back which is not disabled specific. There is plenty of parking all along the quay which I normally use, although it obviously gets pretty busy in Summer. Aberaeron itself has numerous pay and display car parks with plenty of disabled spots. All these are on the flat and within easy reach of the Harbourmaster Hotel.
Access
Wheelchair ramp upto front door. The ramp has a dogleg turn in it which wouldnt be suitable for a motability scooter. Wheelchair ramp at the back entrance from the Hotel car park. Only 1 disabled toilet/baby changing room. This is between the bar and restraunt and is at the end of a sloping corridor....so you may need a friend to wheel you back up although there is usually a friendly member of staff willing to help!
Toilets
Everything in it. Its a bit tight but I manage to turn round in it. As mentioned already it is at the end of a downward facing (albeit short) corridor.
Staff
Very friendly and able. Mostly youngsters. Very helpful with assistance. They are always most welcoming...wether you are calling in just for coffee or wanting a bar meal. Be aware you cannot book a table in the bar area...I usually go at about 11, have coffee and then stay for lunch! It all gets mega busy in summer...same as in most seaside towns.
