Overview
Our daughter had booked Christmas Day lunch here. Access to the restaurant was good from the car park that has a number of blue badge spaces right by the entrance, the entrance is up a slight incline and through two sets of double doors. Once inside there was plenty of space to get around with the wheelchair as tables were well spaced out. The staff had removed a chair from our table making it easy for me to access the table in the wheelchair. As I have a number of allergies caused by medication, they were able to arrange for me to have the tomato soup that was on The children’s menu just a larger bowl. This was brought to our table. We were asked up to the carvery area a table at-a time so queuing up. A member of staff plated up my meal under my husbands guidance, they brought this to me and checked I had everything I needed. There was a choice of meats and vegetables plus gluten free and vegan and vegetarian options available. The metal was very enjoyable and the staff very kind and helpful . We did return corn evening meal on the Tuesday night again was good and staff were once again great.we would visit again when in the area. There is also accommodation next to the pub which is part of the marathon brewery chain.
Transport & Parking
The blue badge parking spaces are right outside the entrance. From these spaces it’s just up a ramp and onto the pavement.
