Overview
Easy to find free blue badge parking with very helpful parking attendant. Lovely grounds but mostly gravel so very difficult to traverse unless you are in a power wheelchair, Did not go into the palace on this visit but enjoyed gardens, river views and restaurant for lunch.
Transport & Parking
There are 8 Bluebadge parking spaces on a first come basis. Parking is free and system must recognise car registration number as barrier automatically lifts as you depart without payment
Access
I did not go into to the palace on this occasion. The gardens are accessible but 90 % of paths are gravel. Restaurant accessible with treasonable tables and space.
Toilets
There are a number if disabled toilets. The toilets nearest to the carpark (M and F) are large and have excellent hand dryer in good position. However, the disabled toilet door in the restaurant could not be accessed without assistance. All were clean.
Staff
Restaurant staff ok but not particularly friendly. Car park attendant friendly and clear with his directions to parking
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Lovely location and plenty to see. I went on a quiet Monday and hence traffic was light and site very quiet.
