Overview
There is an accessible rear entrance but the door was locked. My non-disabled friend had to go inside and ask for it to be opened.
Transport & Parking
There is a car park behind the venue but I didn't ask whether it was for the venue. There is no on street parking. Multi storey car parks are nearby.
Access
Toilets
I didn't use the toilet and didn't see where it was.
Staff
There was one member of staff there at 1.30 pm. She couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The venue itself is currently without a manager. A new manager is due to start in mid-September. I know the venue where she currently works and will speak to her about changes which need to be made.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The website is hopelessly out of date. My friends and I were looking forward to having lunch in what is, supposedly, a 'vegetarian and vegan friendly venue.' All they serve are crusty cobs (white rolls) and two out of three fillings had meat. There was also a stag's head on the wall. There was no decaffeinated coffee or decaffeinated tea. Two of the draught lagers weren't available because the one staff member had hurt her back and couldn't sort them out. The outdoor seating area was shabby and unattractive. I imagine it's a nice place to go in the evening when there are live bands.
