Overview

Grant Park is a football ground in the town of Lossiemouth, Moray, Scotland. It is the home ground of Lossiemouth F.C. who currently play in the Highland Football League. It is not to be confused with Grant Street Park, Inverness, which is home to fellow HFL side, Clachnacuddin F.C. The first issue was finding a car park since most highland league football clubs don't have their own car park. We eventually found a parking space on a street 2 minutes away from the ground. When we arrived at the ground I noticed that the entrances drop down curbs was not low enough for me to get my scooter over it. So I had to ask my dad to ask the man at the turnstile hoe me and my brother (who is in a wheelchair) could get in, and the man told my dad that they were opening a big gate on their left-hand side. We then walked over to this gate and a really nice woman met us and welcomed us to Grant Park. The woman then pointed us to the wheelchair shelter and said that if we needed the loo then there was a toilet behind the wheelchair shelter. Another problem that I noticed was between the big entrance gate to the wheelchair shelter was nothing but grass which was very hilly and I could have tipped my wheelchair over but I didn't so we got to the wheelchair shelter. The wheelchair shelter was nice with a seat for your carer or friend to sit if you wanted to bring a football buddy! The wheelchair shelter was opposite the corner flag.

Transport & Parking

4

We parked about 2 minutes away from the ground. I also noticed there were 2 disabled car parking spaces opposite the ground. The nearest bus stop is about 5 minutes away from the ground at James Square.

Access

4

There were a few flaws with the disabled access but overall it was a good day.

Toilets

3.5

There were disabled toilets behind the disabled shelter but I didn't use the toilet so I can't comment.

Staff

The staff member who dealt directly with us was extremely nice.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

I'm not a guy to moan about the price of something but we were charged £16 this time (£4 for me and my brother, £8 for my dad), £21 at Banff, £25 at Buckie last year and £0 at Forres. Work out 1 price for disabled fans for every club and stick to it! Or else I don't know how much money to bring. Overall a nice place to watch the footy and I would recommend it.
