Overview

Canal towpath accessible at many points from Tiverton onwards towards Taunton, now designated a country park by Devon County Council. Wide and very good surface. About 11 miles in total with excellent cafe at the Tiverton end.

Transport & Parking

Several car parks along the way but if you are unsure, head for Tiverton canal car park.

Access

Most bridges have sloped access to the canal towpath and easy open/close gates, but not all, so best to drive along route and pick ones with car parks.
