Overview
It is lovely having such a well-converted, accessible room in this lovely old building. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything was as easy as possible, and I rate it.
Transport & Parking
There's disabled parking right next to the main entrance. The hotel is right in the centre of Campbeltown.
Access
There's a concrete ramp up to the front door. Then the wheelchair accessible room is the last one on the right. Relatively thick pile carpets, wide corridors. Room is spacious, high bed - two singles strapped together - and an excellent level access en suite shower and toilet with absolutely loads of room.
Toilets
It is en suite. Lots of space to manoeuvre, excellent grab rails, flawlessly clean and tidy, plenty of space for a carer. No hoist.
Staff
Exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble - including hosing the sand off my wheelchair!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Staff all wore masks. Staggered breakfast times to enable social distancing. Everywhere spotlessly clean.
