Anything else you wish to tell us?

The road from the car park is very steep and may be difficult for self-propelling wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters, ditto the path to and from the toilets. The toilets were locked at 5pm. There is a stony section on the roadway between the car park and the canal path. I can walk short distances so I walked until that section was past but it would be very difficult for anyone who is wheelchair bound. The path from there to the canal path is very steep. Once on the canal path/towpath the ground was level. Compacted mud, not tar. A beautiful place, stunning views of the countryside, plenty of bridges to shelter under if it rains.

Lovely once you get up on path. Slightly more level route from top CP through woods and over bridge but uneven. Recommend visit after few dry days. Pretty wildflowers/wildlife and boat activity to watch.
